Arrived London

We arrived in London this morning after travelling for 33 hours.  Royal Brunei was not a bad airline.  Considering on our journey we spent time in three airports - Melbourne, Brunei and Dubai - it was a relatively painless experience.  Harvey had enjoyed running up and down the aircraft aisles between Melbourne and Brunei.  Thereafter, he slept all the way to Dubai.  On the final leg, Harvey basked in iPad heaven, and otherwise spent a lot of time playing with his new-found three year old girlfriend and fellow-passenger, Jane.

We caught a maxi taxi from Heathrow to the Georgian House Hotel in Pimlico, dumped our luggage, and went out for an excellent breakfast at the nearby Kazan Kitchen.

Us at Canberra Airport, wearing our jackets to commemorate Jean's Dad's (Tom) 80th birthday on 9 February.

Our jackets bearing our names, and a map showing our journey from Australia to Wales for Tom's birthday.
Our well wishers wave us off at Canberra Airport.
Jess and Sam near some famous London telephone boxes.
The view from our hotel - a typical scene.
